What is MST?
Meridian Stability Token (MST) is the secondary token issued by the Meridian protocol. It captures fee revenue that is generated by the system and incentivises early adopters. MST is a tradable ERC20 token, available on leading DEXs across most networks where Meridian Finance is deployed. You can easily check the current liquidity pools and the price of MST through Meridian's token portal.
MST follows a 'fair launch' model, adhering to decentralization standards. Rewards in MST can be earned by Stability Providers—users who deposit USDM into the Stability Pool on the Base network—until the token's max supply is reached.
What is MST's max supply?
MST has a max supply of 10,000,000 tokens. You can track the current circulating supply and staked amounts through the staking portal.
Is MST a governance token?
Yes. MST can be used as a governance token for voting on important proposals.
How can I acquire MST?
MST is acquired in three ways:
Depositing USDM into the Stability Pool.
Purchasing through leading DEXs - Token Portal.
Special campaigns that distribute MST for supplying liquidity on product launches, follow the announcements channel.
What can I do with MST?
MST holders can stake their tokens to earn fees generated by all Meridian Finance products, including fees from USDM minting and redemptions, borrowing fees, perpetual trading fees, and swap fees.

What is MST's distribution schedule?
MST's rewards issuance follows a decay curve with a yearly halving schedule. The purpose of the issuance curve is to favourably incentivise early adopters while also maintaining incentives for the long term. The curves are described by the following functions:
