Loyalty deserves to be rewarded. Meridian launched a pilot program offering staking points for users who believe in Meridian’s long-term success. Discover how MST holders can benefit from this new initiative, earning MST grant airdrops and securing a larger share of Meridian’s revenue.
Earning Meridian Staking Points Meridian Staking Points are automatically earned for MST staked in 6-month or 1-year locked positions. This means that once you stake MST for these durations, you’ll start accumulating points.
Rules:
Meridian will take a monthly snapshot of current staked positions to calculate earned points.
For 1-year locked positions, each staked MST earns 1 Meridian Loyalty Staking Point. For 6-month positions, each staked MST earns 0.5 points.
The more points you accumulate, the greater your chances of winning MST rewards.
Stakers will continue to earn USDM rewards for their positions on Meridian.
Users with existing staked positions will start earning points like everyone else, beginning today.
Currently, only staking on TelosEVM is eligible for points. If successful, we plan to expand the program to other chains in the future.
Prizes allocation
Meridian Ventures will contribute 500 MST (worth $60) to the prize pool for every wallet that stakes over 10,000 MST for at least 6 months on the MST staking portal on Telos.
Each month, we will randomly select 3 wallets to receive a 500 MST airdrop, with selection based on the total points earned. The draw will be conducted proportionally, reflecting the points each address has accumulated.
Wallets can win multiple times.
Prizes will be distributed on the TelosEVM Mainnet, with potential expansion to more networks in the near future.
Airdrop Probability and Randomness Calculation
Airdrops take place on a monthly cycle, where 2-3 wallets are randomly selected based on their staked position at the time of the snapshot. Previous snapshots can be viewed below.
Once the winning probability is calculated, we use Random.com to randomly select the designated number of wallet addresses for the airdrop. You can verify the draw here.
