Fuse is an enterprise-grade, use-case agnostic, reliable, and secure decentralised EVM-compatible public blockchain.

The Fuse blockchain uses a Delegated Proof of Stake (DPoS) consensus mechanism. DPoS is a variant of the Proof of Stake (PoS) mechanism where token holders vote for a small number of delegates (also known as validators) who are responsible for validating transactions and maintaining the blockchain. This approach is designed to be more efficient and scalable than traditional Proof of Work (PoW) or even standard PoS mechanisms.

In the Fuse network, the DPoS consensus allows for quick transaction finality and low fees, which aligns with the platform's focus on enabling easy and cost-effective payment solutions and decentralised finance (DeFi) applications.

Benefits Of The Fuse Network

  1. User-Friendly: The Fuse platform caters to end-users, and its user-friendly tools enable them to create and manage digital currencies easily. In an industry that can be intimidating to newcomers, Fuse's straightforward and intuitive platform is a breath of fresh air.

  2. Customisation: The ability to customise the white-label wallet solution is remarkable. It allows businesses to maintain their brand identity while providing blockchain-based financial services. This customisation is a powerful tool for companies looking to establish trust and loyalty among their users.

  3. Scalability: The fuse network is scalable thanks to its Proof-of-Authority (PoA) consensus mechanism. Compared to Proof-of-Work (PoW) networks like Bitcoin and Ethereum, transactions are faster and more energy-efficient.

Bridging To The Fuse Network

Fuse Console enables the transfer of certain digital assets and other data back and forth between different networks like Polygon, Base, Solana and Fuse. The console also assets the transfer of digital assets from centralised exchanges to Fuse. The console accepts popular wallets like Metamask and Coinbase

Tips

  • Whenever moving funds to a new location for the first time, test the process with a small transaction before committing all of your main funds.

  • Note that not all wallets support transfers direct to a contract address however this can be done using Metamask
