Being an AMM Dex, Meridian swap provides users a vast selection of ERC20 tokens and allows trading without relying on a Centralised Exchange (CEX).

How To Get Started:

  1. Start by heading over to Meridian Swap and Click on "Connect".

  1. A prompt will be displayed showing the wallets available to connect.

(Metamask Wallet Recommended)

  1. Click the drop down menu in the "From" and "To" section to select the tokens you want to trade.

  1. A menu would be displayed with a list of tokens to trade from.

  1. Below the swap are displayed parameters which should be taken note of:

  • The Minimum Received - this is the minimum amount that you will receive from the swap.

  • Price Impact - this is the price slippage that will occur as a result of the transaction and is dependent on the amount of liquidity available for the transaction. In some instances it may be possible to reduce the price slippage by splitting the transaction into more than one part.

  • The Liquidity Provider Fee - is the fee that will be paid to the liquidity provider for providing the funds to enable the transaction.

  1. If the token you're choosing to trade has not been enabled, make sure you enable it by approving and signing the token contract.

A transaction prompt will be displayed on Metamask, approve it and sign the transaction before proceeding

  1. After looking through the parameters, click on Swap

  1. After clicking on swap, the Swap UI brings a confirmation prompt, so make sure the details of the swap is correct before proceeding to "Confirm Swap".

  1. A transaction prompt will be brought up by Metamask, click on "Confirm".

Note: Make sure you have gas in native token if not the transaction wouldn't go through.

  1. Once the transaction is complete, you've successfully swapped from one token to another, you can click on close and also choose to add the token directly to your metamask.

When you make a token swap you will pay a 0.25% trading fee, which is distributed as follows:

  • 0.17% - Returned to Liquidity Pools and distributed as rewards to LP providers.

  • 0.08% - Protocol revenue, distributed to MST stakers.
